Install auto-update packages

sudo apt install -y unattended-upgrades apt-listchanges

Configure unattended updates

sudo dpkg-reconfigure -plow unattended-upgrades

NOTE: Answer Yes to allow unattended-upgrades.


Edit the auto-upgrade file

Edit the auto-upgrade file /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/50unattended-upgrades.
