Check the current timezone
date
returns:
Mon 5 Jul 09:23:28 BST 2021
NOTE: This shows the current timezone is set to BST.
Change the system timezone
sudo timedatectl set-timezone Europe/Jersey
or
sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata
NOTE: Follow the screens to change the time zone.
Check your new current timezone again
date
returns:
Mon 5 Jul 09:24:28 BST 2021
