Install fail2ban
Update the system:
sudo apt update && apt upgrade
Install Fail2Ban
sudo apt install fail2ban
Install sendmail
If you want to add email support for the Fail2Ban service:
sudo apt install sendmail
Verify Fail2Ban
sudo systemctl status fail2ban
