SElinux
SElinux is a major security feature in some flavours of Linux.
By default it runs in Enforcing mode, which means it enforces all sorts of security restrictions on what processes are allowed to do.
This may cause problems with some apps.
Check if SElinux is causing an application to fail
Determine what permissions are needed by an application to not have SElinux fail it
