NAS - QNAP - Configuration Files used - /etc/enclosure_n.conf
/etc/enclosure_n.conf
This appears to be where the Physical enclosure disks are defined.
In my system, the following enclosures exist:
- enclosure_0.conf: The primary physical NAS drive enclosure, which can hold up to 6 disks.
- enclosure_1.conf: An external QNAP RAID expansion enclosure connected via a USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable.
- enclosure_3.conf: An external QNAP RAID expansion enclosure connected via a USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable.
- enclosure_33.conf: A generic enclosure ID for all external disks connected to the USB3 ports.

NOTE: This is the primary NAS unit.
- It has eight, 8TB WD-RED disks configured in RAID6.
- The NAS does support two m.2, which I currently have removed, which may indicate why the first port number is shown as PhysicalDisk_3.
- An assumption is that ports one and two would be used by the m.2 slots.

NOTE: This is a USB stick, containing the most recent QNAP BIOS, which is currently plugged in due to the system having problems booting.
- Attempts were being made to update the BIOS, by pressing F11 at boot, but this never works.
