Ctrl+P or Up arrow | Previous command. |
Ctrl+N or Down arrow | Next command. |
show history | Shows last 10 commands entered by default. |
show terminal | Shows terminal configurations and history buffer size. |
terminal history size | Changes buffer size (the maximum is 256). |
Ctrl+A | Move cursor to the beginning of the line. |
Ctrl+E | Move cursor to the end of the line. |
Esc+B | Move back one word. |
Ctrl+B | Move back cursor. |
Ctrl+F | Move forward cursor. |
Esc+F | Move forward one word. |
Ctrl+D (or Backspace) | Deletes a single character. |
Esc+D | Delete from Cursor to end of word. |
Ctrl+R | Redisplays a line. |
Ctrl+U | Erases a line. |
Ctrl+W | Erases a word. |
Ctrl+Z | Ends configuration mode and returns to EXEC mode. |
Ctrl+C | Exit Config mode. |
Tab | Finishes typing a command. |
Router#? | Shows all available commands in current mode. |
Router#t? | Shows all available commands beginning with the letter t. |
Router#telnet ? | Shows all available options for the telnet command. |
