bash:aliases:disable_an_alias_temporarily

BASH - Aliases - Disable an alias temporarily

To override an alias and revert to calling the actual command, simply call the alias with a backslash.

alias ls='ls -al'

The alias would usually be called using:

ls

but to override the alias, call it using a backslash in front:

\ls
