Determine what the bus is for the GPU

sudo lshw -c video

  • which shows 0c:00.0.

Use the bus information from above: 

cat /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000\:0c\:00.0/current_link_speed

returns: 

16.0 GT/s PCIe
