PFSense - Troubleshooting - OpenVPN Client Common Name shows as UNDEF

When clients connect they initially show up as UNDEF.

After a while this may correct itself.

OpenVPN cannot determine the client name (which is normally based on the client-side certificate) and it puts 'UNDEF' in there.

Adding the following into the .opvn config may help:

example.opvn

...
username-as-common-name
...
