Oracle - SQL - Count - Count

A query can be wrapped in another SELECT:

SELECT COUNT(*)
FROM

SELECT COUNT(SID) tot  -- add alias

GROUP BY SID
) 
 
SELECT COUNT(*)
FROM
(SELECT COLUMNS
