- Download mongodb for your platform from http://www.mongodb.org/downloads
- Execute **bin/mongo --port 27117** from your controller
- Type **'use ace'**
- Type **'db.admin.find()'**
----
Try:
mongo --port 27117 ace --eval 'db.admin.update( { "name" : "" }, { $set : { "x_shadow" : "$6$ybLXKYjTNj9vv$dgGRjoXYFkw33OFZtBsp1flbCpoFQR7ac8O0FrZixHG.sw2AQmA5PuUbQC/e5.Zu.f7pGuF7qBKAfT/JRZFk8/" } } )'
or
db.admin.update( { "name" : "" }, { $set : { "x_shadow" : "$6$ybLXKYjTNj9vv$dgGRjoXYFkw33OFZtBsp1flbCpoFQR7ac8O0FrZixHG.sw2AQmA5PuUbQC/e5.Zu.f7pGuF7qBKAfT/JRZFk8/" } } )
**NOTE:** Replace with the admin account.
You can now login with your admin account and password **password**.
**NOTE:** That hash could have been generated with the command:
# mkpasswd -m sha-512 password -s "ybLXKYjTNj9vv"
returns:
$6$ybLXKYjTNj9vv$dgGRjoXYFkw33OFZtBsp1flbCpoFQR7ac8O0FrZixHG.sw2AQmA5PuUbQC/e5.Zu.f7pGuF7qBKAfT/JRZFk8/

To make the password 'password' use hash

Use the hash above for 'password' as your password, then just use the Unifi admin UI to generate a new one.
**NOTE:** Uses the salt... (9Ter1EZ9$1St6)
