====== Chess - Programming - Rating ======

Various rating systems are used to determine the strength of a player, or chess computer.

These include:

  * **elo**:  FIDE.
  * **uscf**:  United States Chess Federation.
  * **ecf**:  English Chess Federation.
  * **bcf**:  British Chess Federation (no longer exists).
  * **cfc**:  Canadian Chess Federation.

To determine how strong a Chess Program is, a standard will need to be used in order to compare against other players.
